About A Chair AAC220 - Polypropylene V2

After years of redevelopment, with the objective of recreating HAY's iconic About A Collection from a more sustainable perspective, the About A  AA-ECO range is now made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (a material derived from household waste, like televisions and washing machines).

Featuring a swivel base in aluminium, the AAC 220 has a slightly more formal expression than the other variants in the series. Retaining the fundamental idea shared by the AAC family, this model is characterised by a curved shell with a slightly higher back. Designed with optimal functionality in mind, the shell construction offers a deep, generous seat that combines inviting aesthetics with a high level of comfort, whilst the lower armrests provide good support and enable the chair to fit underneath a table or desk.

The base is available in either polished or powder-coated aluminium, and the post-consumer recycled plastic shell is available in different colours and finishes, providing a multitude of design combinations that give this series versatility in a wide range of corporate, public, and private contexts.
